Morning, 

So I was texting with @thebrownspider about music (like always) && I was totally vibing on old school 90s Mexican regional music. Look, I love to dance paisa music. Paisa music is what you call those corridos, banda, tambora etc… music that comes from Mexico. Thus, for the Mexico, lindo y querido segment for today I want to share a song by the duo, Carlos y Jose. The song I was listening to was “Amores Fingidos” && I was commenting how every time I listen to this song, I’ll dance && sing it. I get goosebumps because my Mexican ass knows that this song was always played at parties && if there’s one thing I’m known for at parties is that I fkn dance. I don’t care if I’m by myself or whatever, I’ll ask out a guy or girl to dance with me if the song requires a partner. This genre brings so many childhood memories to me. I want to share a song called “Cielo Azul, cielo nublado”. Ugh…. the lyrics for both are romantic too. I won’t lie, a few drunk boys have ringed me up with these songs && dedicated them to me haha. Te amo un chingo Mexico. I feel you in my blood && on my skin. Tonight, el grito.
