there were plenty of benefits to being part of malificient's royal court. it let odie and gray do whatever they wanted for the most part ( as if they wouldn't have anyways ) and kept people from looking at either of them under a microscope. they'd each had plenty of time being watched and that era was over. forever. they never needed to go back. they didn't need to stay there either. odie didn't care where they went, as long as it was with him and him was with it.
that day, the benefit came in the form of talking to two of the other 'guards' about the clocks. they ended up giving it a gift dottie was excited to show gigi. or was it a trade? huh, can't remember, might need to ponder that later.
"geeeeeeeeeegers," it sang out coming into their cave, only pausing to turn the '7' on the door upside down again. "someone keeps wrong siding that." it muttered with a quick frown and shut the door behind her. sevens looked much better upside down or gone completely. without another thought on the matter it went running into the bedroom and jumped on the bed with a loud giggle, followed then by a couple after shocks of smaller ones. "i met a sneak and a skunk, downstairs." dot rolled and adjusted to sit up, folding it's knees under them and pulling out a small bag with six brightly colored tablets in it. "they gave me magic beans but i think it might've been a swap. i don't remember what i swapped for them though, i don't have a cow."
