Evan & @ofjosettex January 17, 1981 - Rosier Residence, morning
Evan hadn’t planned on making a huge breakfast but cooking was a habit of his when overstressed and he wasn’t about to turn down the idea of having a tiny assistant chef at his side. He didn’t allow Josie to do anything overly challenging, appreciating the moral support of a toddler that was all too interested in food. The toddler had seen the opportunity of getting exactly what she wanted for breakfast and Evan was in just the right headspace to indulge her.
“I would have thought my father calling me a disappointment would count as my lowest point,” Evan mused and turned over the bacon he was preparing, glancing over at his wife across the room before he continued. “But no, it was the Dark Lord calling me one. Really set a precedence for not messing up today that I can’t quite bring myself to appreciating.”
