Ok, name 5 Chicago songs you think are super underrated! And feel free to let us know why! ππ»
Only 5? asdfghjk. OK! Will do!
"A Hit By Varèse" (One of Robert Lamm's true masterpieces from Chicago V. It deserves so much appreciation! The lyrics are so creative and amazing! And they flow together so beautifully! And the horn solos are legendary! This song should've been a hit for real!)
"Song Of The Evergreens" (Such a gorgeous song! Plus, you've got Lee Loughnane on lead vocals! Which makes it super special! This song needs lots more love too! I feel like some people don't appreciate it as much as the other songs on Chicago VII just because it's a slow song/ has ballad vibes. But buddy. All you gotta do is listen to the whole thing and you'll be surprised. It's pure perfection.)
"Long Time No See" (This song is so badass! I love it so freaking much! The guitar, flute, and legion of saxophones are killer! And the way Robert sings it, man! Oughhh! Such tasty vocals! I feel like this is one song that's overlooked amongst the others on Chicago VIII.)
"What Else Can I Say" (An underrated gem from Chicago III. For sure. One of my faves from Peter. I feel like it's not appreciated enough because it's a bit different from anything else you'd expect from them. That's why I love it. Chicago does country. sdfghjk.)
"Thunder And Lightning" (There's a lot of fans that don't like Chicago XIV... Which is a travesty! But this song in particular is one of the reasons it should be appreciated more imo. It's a damn good song. I'll die on this hill. I live for Robert and Peter singing together. Their voices blend so well.)
