Despite having felt her suddenly lean against him, the pensive plant hadn’t even noticed she’d dozed off in the middle of their conversation. The sudden silence failed to strike him as odd; he figured it was just one of those... silent moments. On top of that, he wasn’t oblivious to her signs of exhaustion either, believe it or not, so he understood if she wasn’t feeling too talkative.
...Time certainly passed, but thanks to being lost in thought, his guess on how much was as good as hers.
Once she awoke, his surprisingly serious expression was swift to shift as his lips curved into a soft smile. Finding her reaction amusing, a chuckle or two escaped him.
What were they talking about...?

He reassured with a light shake of his head, raising a leaf over Hibiki’s head to give it a few kind, comforting pats before inviting her to return to resting by gently wrapping that same green appendage around her.
“Tiiie-yuurrgghd Beegh-kee... sh...shoouugghd sleeeeghp...!”
Even if the plant hadn’t been preoccupied, it wasn’t like he minded something like this; on the contrary, he was incredibly accustomed to, and even welcomed it-- but only if she wanted to, of course!
