Headcanon idea: Micheal Guerin's left hand has little to no strenght due to nerves and muscle damage so he compensates with his telekinesis.

That's pretty much canon, if you think about it; all through season 1 we clearly see that he can't bend his fingers all the way and his hand seizes up. Being in his line of work, whether we talk about his job at Sanders' or at Foster's, dexterity is very important and having alien powers to help you when you need it is... pretty handy. No pun intended.
Now, what I'm wondering is, do you think it still hurts to this day?
I've seen this theory floating around and I have to say, I'm on the fence about it.
On one hand (again, I'm sorry but I don't know another way of wording it lol), we've seen what Max can do, there's no reason he would be able to resuscitate a girl who's been dead for ten years and heal all of her previous injuries, yet would not heal all the way Michael's hand. However, Michael's muscles did suffer from a prolonged time of inactivity, so Max could have easily healed the bones and the nerves, technically resulting in full mobility again, but the muscles could still be atrophied or at least way weaker than the ones in his right hand, but I'd like to think he's no longer in pain these days.
All in all, I do think that Michael suffered a lot during those ten years, precision works were a no-go without a little telekinetic help; luckily he was more often than not alone out in the ranch, and Sanders usually pretended not to notice (and was secretly and smugly proud of him, as would Miss Nora very much be).
It wasn't even the physical ordeal, for him, though. We all know that every time he got a stab of pain, with it came the overwhelming sadness about Alex, the nerve-wracking wrath towards Jesse, and maybe the disappointment in how naïf he had been (and a tiny little breath of relief in thinking that, though he may still bear the marks, at least he did spare Alex whatever would have come at him).
Funnily enough, he kinda became the go-to guy at Foster's for weather prediction: you see, his hand never misses, he could always tell if it was going to rain; a Guerintee, if you want...
Nowadays, it's not even just the fear of letting his pain go, it's honestly a big readjustment, because he made do like that for so long, and his brain can't seem to get the memo that his hand works just fine, he doesn't need to hold stuff in the crook of his elbow anymore, he can just- hold them. The strength will come with time
It's a journey, but he'll make it, dont worry. After all, he's gonna hold Alex's hand sooner or later, isn't he? That's gonna be a good exercise
