- i’m really feeling the lan wanji/wei wuxian/wen ning triad dynamic, it was surprising and nice to see wen ning and lan wanji actually talk and get along, and great to see both lwj and wn jumping to defend their fragile necromancer boyfriend in fights

- wwx stop trying to get rid of people that care about you because of low self esteem challenge

- i cannot believe the temple scene was just a bunch of people screaming at each other emotionally for 2 hours and i was riveted by all of it

- the temple scene finally really sold me on jiang cheng tbh; he was wavering in and out of me being like ‘ok you’re interesting and sympathetic but like... do I really Care’ and hooray, now I do. he and wei wuxian just need to like... actually hug at some point, tho

- i was already getting really emotional about jgy/sms and jgy/lxc, so you can imagine what i’m going through

- currently playing in my head on loop; the incredible tenderness with which jgy says ‘minshan’, the continually increasing desperation and pleading with which he says ‘er-ge’

- the extended.... sequence of lxc’s sword being dragged deeper and deeper into jgy’s body until they’re basically locked in an embrace... glad we can still have some good old ‘stabbing is sex, death is consummation’ vibes with a pairing that’s obviously had actual sex as well. classic vibes
