How did I talk myself into... going to the corporate 80's themed Summer Party.... in half-assed costume.... via public transport.......

Nolofinwe internalized a lot of his wants and desires. His wish for his father’s attention or his older brother’s love never seemed likely to be filled so he simply buried them with a smile and promised himself that his own children, should he have them, would never feel those same longings. His frustration over how all he seemed good at being politics, the one thing he would probably never have to deal with fully, was pushed aside and he focused on being the best he could be to impress others. His desperate wish for a friend who would listen impartially was filled by his own hands in finding a horse that showed him love and affection that he’d craved but found nowhere else before that and yet the wish for a voice that would answer him back was only filled with Anaire who he was to love but to his utter horror and loathing he could never manage to give her the love and affection he knew she deserved. In the end it was only his wish to be seen as brave and strong like his older half-brother that ever truly was shown, he displayed it by riding to the very doors of the one on who’s hands his brother and father’s deaths lie.
