I wish I could lay claim to it but actually it’s from a radio interview I listened to sometime. I wish I could remember the name of the man because he was amazing, but all I know is that he was a refugee from the Middle East (Afghanistan I think) and came to Australia and eventually ended up getting really involved with the Indigenous community in the Northern Territory, I believe. He used the phrase to describe his mother and it just really resonated with me, I thought it was beautiful and something I aspire to be xx
