my doc is great about this stuff generally which i think is why she didn’t push it--it’s painful and traumatic enough for me once every three years--she generally will prioritize immediate psych health rather than prophylaxis which is GOOD but like. i do actually need to have cervical cells tested, esp since guidance is apparently going up to five years bt exams. i’m not comfortable w that being eight years instead! irresponsible! three even is probably too long! so anyway good thing i’m a trainee medical professional i guess bc i have obtained some disposable peds specula for habituation purposes. but brains in jars WHEN

idk aside from it being my least favorite medical procedure for very good reason i think something about her office reminds me of the xray room in spb? i’ve had other procedures there and it hasn’t been a problem but u know. factors converge.
