that's so darling actually!! betilla would definitely be the kind of gal who would speculate a lot on dark matter and would be happy to talk about the evolution of supermassive stars or something.

Personally I think the Glade of Dreams was created by all 3 deities mentioned in Rayman. Polokus, Muse of Poets and yes Leptys himself.

As the illustrator of the Glade, Polokus created the world through his dreams. He’s the heart and soul of the team. His creativity knows no bounds

As the Author of the Glade The Muse of Poets wrote out the world’s laws, history and order establishing the hierarchy of Nymphs and the fairy council. She was the brains of the team. Her disappearance was a very major loss.

Leptys establishes the balance. He’s the realist. He’s actually given the most vital job of all. If Polokus ever dreams a nightmare that so catastrophic it can cause an extinction level disaster it is Leptys job to obliterate not just the nightmare but the Glade of Dreams itself. In doing so Polokus will have to start anew. The Knaarens were created for the purpose to act as last resort super soldiers to prevent such an event from occurring.

the idea of leptys being the dark gaia (from sonic unleashed) of the rayman series is such a cool concept, i never really viewed leptys as the "anti-polokus/bubble dreamer" (frankly i always viewed jano as the antithesis to polokus anyway mostly because of how otherworldly he feels as a character and the fact that, to me anyway, he more or less represents the nightmares of the glade of dreams, he was the first nightmare the bubble dreamer had, also they have the same hat for no explained reason in rayman 2)

Another day he casts a spell where rainclouds float above Betilla’s head all day raining Lima beans on her. Another day he plans to use the stolen great protoon to achieve omnipotence. The day after he casts a spell to always make Rayman’s bed be in that uncomfortable warm spot when he sleeps on it.

Another day he traps 2 of Betilla’s sisters into the flaming pits of hell. Another day he’s courting and having dinner with Edith Up. Another day he has allied with Changelings uses them to secretly replace every major king and world leader in the Glade of Dreams so he can control the world in the shadows as Supreme Emperor and gain unlimited access to the Great Protoon. One day he’ll be absent for over a decade and come back suddenly open to making deals and contracts that helps Rayman out after being shrunk.

Long story short he always a scheme prime and ready but the danger of it is unknown to predict. He always keeps you guessing and frankly that’s much more scarier.

That's such an awesome interpretation of mr dark, this idea of him being a wild card in terms of his villany is weirdly in character to me.

That is a really fascinating idea for MD, what's fun about his design is that it leaves a lot to the imagination, we don't even know what he looks like under that coat of his, so a twist like that wouldn't be too far off from the table I would say.

I'd really love too, I want to have fun and role play with other ppls oddtumblr ocs, and I always found ask blogs to be genuinely fun, I don't really see them that often nowadays compared to back then but this fandom has kept them alive for years which is something that makes me so happy. But the issue is, is that I'm very intimated by a lot of members of this fandom that I admire and while I dream of role playing with them with their oddworld ocs I worry a lot about how I would come across if I were to ever ask to role play. And I have a very limited experience with fandom role-play, I only did it once back in 2016 back in my amino years, it was a rayman one, so I'm not very experienced with it and I fear that I'll make an ass out of myself in trying to do that. Granted its probably the anxiety talking .

But I really am happy you really love them, I honestly enjoy developing them as characters and I found myself to be really attached to them for a while now.

And for the 5 animals list I definitely have some animals I love.

1. CATS I LOVE CATS SO MUCH!! I just find them so endearing and cute, and I wish that they wernt so misunderstood just because they act differently from dogs, they're sweet, they're mischievous, they're adventurous, they're laid back, they're so unique to me in a way I can't describe. And the idea of cats being viewed as weird or standoff ish when they simply are built differently and have their own ways of socializing is something that speaks to me in a way. I love cats I love you cats mwah mwah

2. Bunnies, the bnnuy.. not only are they really cute but I find them interesting, I love how social they are, and it's interesting on how they convey their emotions and feelings by their body language, which I find very endearing.

3. Birds! I love birds, they're very pretty and I love how colorful and bright they are. And the way birds behave or act in their environments depending on what species of them you look at intrigues me.

4. Squids, I really like squids. They're cool, they're weird, they're silly, and can be awesome.

5. Dogs, they're loyal little guys and while I might now love them as much as cats they are super endearing and fun.
