joanna zucker! this isn't a time to panic! her grandmother was yelling at her through the door, which she should have walked out of nine minutes ago. everyone was probably staring at the door and hoping joanna didn't become a runaway bride. the door was locked so no one could drag her out by her nicely done hair. not even a witch could break through the door she had locked, thank god. as she stared at herself (her true, actual, born self), she felt her stomach do a full routine of gymnastics in her body. another two minutes of staring, she finally pulled on her heels. she checked her blue, butterfly hair piece. something blue. her great-grandmother's pearl bracelet was adjusted. something old. her necklace was turned so it was facing the right way. something new. and her grandmother's earrings were put in. it was a full thirteen minutes until she was walking out the door. through the paved walkway to the small greenhouse and through the doors, a veiled and blushing bride was walking towards her soon-to-be husband. the flowers in her hands bloomed fully, every flower blooming as she walked. she didn't even realize it. it was the butterflies distracting her. even though she waited a full thirteen minutes until she was out the door, it didn't mean she was excited. her love for sebastian bellrose wasn't any less than it was the second they met. again. he still managed to make her heart race and her stomach to fill with little butterflies. he was the one for her, there wasn't a doubt about that. not in the full thirteen (fifteen, by now) minutes of staring in the mirror, questioning everything, did she not want to marry him. it felt like hours until she was standing in front of him. her eyes flickered back to petunia, then to all of her friends. her side was filled with family, but lacking in friends. but when she looked at the sea of witches, grinning for her, she almost let out a joyous giggle. they looked like a bunch of absolute freaks. she looked back to sebastian, smiling at him. when she looked at him, god, did she see her entire world and beyond. fireworks might have well gone off inside of her.
