Sure Seungri may have stepped down as CEO/passed over ownership of Burning Sun to someone else before news broke out about the assault that happened there, but it doesn’t change that he was still the CEO/owner of Burning Sun when the incident happened and therefore he should take responsibility for whatever happened while he was still the CEO/owner. It’s also laughable that the “oppa didn’t mean it” fans are saying that he doesn’t need to take responsibility because he wasn’t there when it happened even though there was proof he was at the club on the day it happened and that he had “no idea” that it happened–look, if Seungri claimed that he wasn’t like other idols with businesses and personally took care of his own business matters, then he should’ve known and been aware of any shady things that happened with his own businesses, including his club.
