Cadaver walked the old gilded halls of the citadel, taking in the sounds of the Pilgrims that sung their songs around the citadel. She hummed along as she kept to the shadows, her humming was the only thing that gave her location away.
This was gonna be the day she made it outside the citadel, she grew tired of the same surroundings in her room up in the cradle. She could explore the Citadel but, chances were shed get seen by someone and back to mother she would go.
Grand Silk Mother was still weary to let Cadaver explore, she didn't understand why mother wouldn't let her. Silk mothers always been this way with Cadaver, especially ever since her sister Satin went out exploring. Speaking of Satin, Cadaver hadn't seen them for a good moment, maybe she should visit them sometime. They only met once but Satin seemed nice enough, plus Cadaver would love to learn how to use the long pin like them.
Cadaver had packed light for the road but she had brought a small item she had found the other day with her. It was a scroll she had found in the cradle when mother wasn't paying attention. She could hear voices from the scroll and sometimes the scroll would have writings on it or sometimes she'd open it up and a gift would pop out. She didnt exactly understand why the scroll did what it did but she didn't want to leave in her room for mother to find it.
Cadaver had made short work of her trip and found herself near the spa area of her home. This is where pilgrims will clean themselves before joining the choir, forever singing in the halls.
