Welcome to MusesForTheDamned. This blog is a creative space built for storytelling, character exploration, world-building, and meaningful connection. It is home to canon muses, original characters, alternate universes, crossovers, complicated dynamics, dark themes, soft moments, and everything in between. Behind every muse, thread, ship, and verse is a real person with boundaries, limits, preferences, and a life beyond the dashboard. Because of that, the following rules are not optional suggestions. They exist to protect the comfort, safety, creativity, and mutual respect of everyone involved. By following, interacting with, sending asks to, plotting with, or writing for this blog, you are expected to read, understand, and adhere to the policies listed below. These rules may seem detailed, but clarity prevents confusion, resentment, and crossed boundaries. They are here so everyone knows what to expect before stepping into this space. Please read them carefully. *Updated 8/15/2026
ㅤPersonal Foundation & Mental Health Policyㅤㅤ This blog does not begin with muses. It does not begin with plots, ships, verses, or asks. It begins with me. And if that foundation cannot be met with compassion, maturity, and understanding, then nothing built beyond it will stand. There will be times when I go quiet. Sometimes for a few days. Sometimes without warning. Sometimes without the emotional capacity to explain myself immediately. This is not neglect. This is not indifference. This is survival. My health is not a footnote to this space. It is part of its architecture. I live with Chronic Pain, ADHD, PTSD, Anxiety, Insomnia, Bipolar Disorder Type II, Severe Depression, Schizoaffective Disorder, and Borderline Personality Disorder. These are not moods, phases, or inconveniences. They are ongoing realities that affect my energy, cognition, emotional processing, and availability. I show up when I can. I step away when I must. Neither requires an apology. I care deeply, and because of that, I am deeply affected by the connections I form. When communication suddenly ends without explanation, my mind does not simply move on. It questions, spirals, and searches for fault where none may exist. I do not demand instant replies or perfection. I do ask for honesty, clarity, and respect when a connection is changing or ending. If your way of disengaging is to disappear without communication, I gently ask that you do not initiate a close connection with me. Not because you are wrong, but because silence is not something my mind easily understands as closure. The OOC bonds I form are real to me. I do not write with my muses alone. I write with my heart, and I will not apologize for caring deeply. I also do not participate in vagueblogging, public callouts, discourse spirals, passive aggression, or pressure to take sides. If I distance myself from a person or community, that is not commentary or an invitation for questions. It is a boundary. Let no one tell you differently: I am a what-you-see-is-what-you-get person. I overshare. I vent. I post pieces of my real life. I spent most of my life being controlled, silenced, and denied the freedom to simply exist as myself. Now that my life finally belongs to me, I am going to share the things I love, the moments that make me happy, and the person I am still becoming. I am a Middle Eastern woman in my thirties. I have survived abuse, addiction, relapse, neglect, and years without the childhood, independence, or friendships I should have had. I am still learning how to trust people. I am still learning boundaries. I am still learning how to care without giving every part of myself away. But I am learning. I am human. I am vulnerable. I am strong. I am healing. And I am not ashamed of who I am.
ㅤAI POLICYㅤ I can’t believe this is something that has to be stated, but here we are. This blog is not run by AI. My words are my own. My graphics are my own, unless otherwise credited. The mun, however, does feel the need to make a very clear distinction between the use and abuse of Artificial Intelligence. My work involves technology. I am fascinated by it. I explore its endless helpful features in my work environment, in my education, and in the ways it can make certain things more accessible for people who need support. There is a vast world opening with the help of AI, and I am not going to turn a blind eye to that, especially when it has the potential to help people. That is what I do. I help people. What I do not do is take someone’s post, reply, or starter, feed it into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Co-Writer, or anything else, and ask a machine to produce my response for me. When I roleplay, the words being typed onto the screen are coming from me. Sahar(a). I speak for myself. I am speaking for myself now, and I have spent my entire life learning how to do that, whether anyone was listening when I was growing up or not. And honestly? That is part of why this matters so much to me. Because of the abuse I grew up in, I know exactly how important it is to have a voice. I know the difference between using a tool for support and handing over your thoughts completely. I know the difference between putting thought to text and expecting something else to think for you. I know the difference between assistance and replacement. AI can be a tool. AI can be helpful. AI can be used for accessibility, brainstorming, organization, coding, design support, education, and a hundred other things. But abusing it to replace your own effort, your own creativity, your own replies, and your own presence in a writing space? That is not what I do. My writing is mine. My voice is mine. My blog is mine. And I will not apologize for understanding technology while also having boundaries about how I use it.
Participating & Interactingㅤ This is a mutually exclusive, 21+, multiverse, multi-ship, crossover, canon, and OC-friendly roleplay blog. I welcome a wide range of fandoms, timelines, and dynamics, but I value genuine compatibility and meaningful interaction over collecting mutuals. I do not automatically follow every blog back and may unfollow if I cannot see a natural direction for our muses. This is never personal. It simply allows me to maintain a focused, manageable, and creatively fulfilling space. I rarely begin serious threads without some form of prior communication. You are welcome to introduce yourself through messages, ask memes, or OOC comments. If you write from a side blog, please clearly identify your main account, so I know who I am interacting with and can follow the correct blog. Mutual interest, effort, communication, and respect are essential. If our muses click and we are both invested, I will gladly meet that energy.
ㅤWriting Standards & Formattingㅤ You do not need to match my reply length, but I require at least one thoughtful, descriptive paragraph that gives me something meaningful to respond to. I write in prose with quotation marks. I do not write in first person, use action asterisks, or engage with vague one-line replies. If our writing styles are incompatible, I may unfollow without hard feelings. I may use GIFs, banners, or styled text, but none of that is required from my partners. Use whatever formatting feels comfortable. If my formatting creates an accessibility issue, please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate you.
ㅤPlotting & Threadsㅤㅤ I enjoy detailed plotting, including discussing tone, pacing, character dynamics, and long-term arcs. I am also happy to write spontaneously and let the muses guide us. Please do not pressure me into a ship, plot, or dynamic after I have expressed discomfort or declined it. Repeatedly returning to a rejected idea, including through indirect suggestions, will cause me to step away. Not every thread lasts forever. Muse may fade, circumstances may change, or a story may reach its natural conclusion. Retiring a thread is never a judgment of you, your muse, or your writing. However, silence does not automatically mean a thread has been dropped. Unless I have directly communicated that a story is ending, please treat it as paused rather than abandoned.
ㅤReply Speed, Activity & Hiatusesㅤ My activity depends on muse, energy, health, and real-life demands. Some threads may move faster because of established friendships, ongoing plots, or current creative momentum. This is not favoritism, nor does it mean I have forgotten anyone. If it has been about a week, you are welcome to send a gentle reminder. Please do not badger, guilt-trip, repeatedly pressure, or harass my writing partners or me. Pressure does not make me write faster. It causes me to withdraw. Weekends are often reserved as Bestie Weekends, a long-standing tradition where Jas and I spend time writing, gaming, watching movies, going out, or simply resting. There may also be periods when this blog becomes quiet without warning. Silence is not punishment, distance is not rejection, and time away is not abandonment. This blog is a creative sanctuary, not an obligation ledger.
ㅤInbox & Ask Memesㅤ Ask memes are always welcome and encouraged. They are one of the easiest ways to break the ice, especially for anyone who finds direct plotting or messages intimidating. Replies may take time, and I reserve the right to delete asks if I lack inspiration or if the content is inappropriate. If you send from a multimuse blog, please identify which muse is speaking and which of my muses the ask is directed toward. If no muse is specified, I may choose one at random or leave the ask unanswered. When I repost an ask as a separate post and tag your blog, that post is an official starter thread. It is my attempt to begin writing with you, not simply a standalone answer to be liked and forgotten. Ask memes are one of the primary ways I form new connections. Repeatedly sending memes without engaging with the resulting starters may be interpreted as a lack of interest and may lead to fewer future responses or plotting opportunities.
ㅤFollowing, Unfollowing & Blockingㅤ Tumblr can glitch, causing follows to disappear or reconnect unexpectedly. If you choose to soft-block me, I ask that you hard-block instead. This creates a clear boundary and prevents accidental refollows. I periodically clean up my following list. If I unfollow you unexpectedly, especially if you write from a side blog, you may message me. It may simply be a mistake or confusion regarding your main account. I do not participate in callouts, vagueblogging, public shaming, dogpiling, or discourse spirals. If I am pressured to take sides or become involved in conflict that does not concern me, I will remove myself immediately. If an issue directly involves me, approach me privately, calmly, and respectfully. I am not available to act as a judge, mediator, or source of emotional labor for conflicts I was never part of.
ㅤThread Retirement Policy Not every thread is meant to continue forever. Muse may fade, circumstances may change, or a story may simply reach its natural ending. When a thread is retired, it is never a judgment of you, your writing, or your character. That said, silence does not automatically mean a thread has been dropped. If I have not spoken to you directly, please do not assume the story is over. I do my best to communicate when a thread needs to be released, though anxiety may sometimes delay that conversation. Patience, kindness, and understanding are deeply appreciated. Some quiet moments are endings, but others are simply pauses while I catch my breath.
ㅤOriginal Charactersㅤ Original characters are deeply prioritized here. Canon muses may open the door, but original characters are the worlds beyond it. Your OC is not treated as an accessory, guest, or background figure. Within our shared verses, they are considered a real and meaningful part of the story whose choices, relationships, and emotional impact can permanently alter continuity. OC connections may create main verses, alternate universes, crossover timelines, future or prequel stories, domestic arcs, recovery arcs, tragedies, and other shared continuities. Crossovers do not require your OC to abandon their original world. We build a bridge that preserves their history, lore, tone, and identity while creating new shared canon. Please do not approach this blog with tunnel vision for one popular canon muse while ignoring the OCs, rare muses, biographies, and original worlds surrounding them. I may make exceptions, but this blog is not a canon archive. It is an original universe with canon doors.
ㅤShipping & NSFWㅤ I value romantic, platonic, familial, antagonistic, and other meaningful dynamics. Chemistry must develop naturally, and I will not force a relationship simply because it was discussed beforehand. I rarely alter a muse’s established sexual orientation and prefer to remain consistent with their characterization. This blog is smut-friendly, but it is not smut-centered. I do not write porn without plot, kink-on-command, or sexual content without chemistry, consent, emotional context, or an established dynamic. My muses are not sex objects, and I do not write with people who are interested only in a faceclaim. Faceclaims are chosen because they reflect a character’s mannerisms, voice, energy, and emotional presence. Please engage with the muse rather than the actor portraying them. Explicit visual content should be placed under a cut. Repeatedly posting or circulating graphic imagery without one may result in a hard block. Any mature content appearing on MusesForTheDamned will be tagged, placed under a Read More, and written with narrative intention. Explicit or NSFW-centered writing belongs on SinnersForTheDamned, which exists as a separate space with a similar muse roster. P lease approach the correct blog for the kind of interaction you are seeking.
ㅤDark Themes & Content Advisoryㅤㅤ This blog explores darkness, but it does not worship it. Trauma is not entertainment, abuse is not aesthetic, and harmful power dynamics are not written for glorification. Some stories and relationships may include incest, power imbalances, and other taboo-adjacent themes, particularly within fandoms such as Game of Thrones or House of the Dragon. These dynamics are approached through character development and narrative context, not for shock value or endorsement. Content may also include: Gore, horror, sexual content, canon-based incest, physical or emotional abuse, mental illness, substance use, self-destructive behavior, grief, trauma, and other heavy subjects. These themes are explored through character arcs, world-building, and storytelling. They are never used lightly, but they may still be triggering. This list is not exhaustive and may evolve as my muses and stories grow. If any of these themes make you uncomfortable, whether occasionally or consistently, I completely understand if you choose not to follow or interact.
ㅤTaggingㅤ I make every effort to tag mature, triggering, or potentially distressing content. If you need something specific tagged, please speak to me directly. I will do my best to accommodate you and correct any oversight without hostility or defensiveness. However, I am human and may occasionally forget. Mistakes are never intentional. I ask for the same patience and grace that I extend to others unless a boundary is being repeatedly and deliberately ignored. Communication, kindness, and mutual understanding matter more than perfection.
ㅤOut-of-Character Conductㅤㅤ Behind this blog is a real person with a life, limits, and emotional boundaries. Entitlement, manipulation, guilt-tripping, coercion, invasive expectations of access, or attempts to control my time and attention are not welcome. This applies equally to how you treat my writing partners. Anyone who harasses, stalks, pressures, intimidates, manipulates, or emotionally targets someone within my circle will be permanently hard-blocked. Respect is not an optional courtesy here. It is the minimum requirement for interaction.
ㅤHeadcanons & World-Buildingㅤㅤ The headcanons, verses, timelines, systems, and worlds created here are living collaborative canon. They are not templates, public resources, free-use lore, or aesthetic material to be copied, repurposed, redistributed, or rewritten outside the partnership that created them. If a headcanon, verse, or system was built between us, it belongs to that collaboration. Shared canon is shared through consent, not extraction. Unauthorized copying or redistribution may result in a hard block and, where appropriate, a report to Tumblr. These worlds are built through trust, communication, and emotional investment. Please treat them accordingly.
