liam: i didn't have a great start. and then just wrong place in uh in on the first lap when everything sort of happened and i went off track. so it's a shame. i think the the car was pretty quick honestly. uhm and we just spent the whole race in traffic again no matter what we did so it's a shame.

liam: yeah, pretty happy. i think every weekend gets uh, you know you get more comfortable and also coming to tracks we've been to before as well helps. miami obviously was a tricky one. i think in general to be honest, i felt pretty comfortable in the car. i think we had good speed in the car, but there are a lot of variables in formula 1 and to just get a whole weekend together has been quite tough recently. so obviously we're going to try and do the best we can this weekend at a home race for the team.

liam: it's a nice atmosphere here. i've been here as a reserve and been a part of it, so to be racing it this year, it's pretty exciting. track looks cool. it's uhm obviously an exciting weekend for us with the livery launch. and obviously being a sprint it makes it very challenging but also allows more opportunity as well.

liam: yeah, pretty disappointed, uhm. to be honest the car felt really good, through quali, especially into q1 and honestly q2. i don't really know where we missed so much at the end of q2. it was a pretty good lap and the car felt pretty good. but it'll be something we'll review but it's the first time we've lacked any speed through this weekend.

liam: yeah hopefully we can fix it for tomorrow um and yeah um. probably need some rain to be honest. would be nice. but yeah lets see you know.

liam: it's obviously good to extract everything out of the car but it's just a shame that the midfield is so close right now, and uh, it's clear that alpine and williams have made a step somewhere recently uhm and it's obviously up to us to try and match that so i think honestly we did a really good job with the car this weekend we've been chasing it hard in these sessions and i think we've put together the best package we had today we just gotta keep working.
