“My wants are unconventional.” Declan told the woman who’d been brought to his chambers; one of the queen’s ladies. “The queen is uncomfortable with the concept, but…” he paused, his eyes trailing over her. “I do not believe you have that problem.” He stepped closer, his fingers reaching out to tentatively trail down the gentle curve of her jawline. “Do you?” As king, he could simply command her to submit. He could command that she remove her clothes and surrender her body to his desires, but he didn’t want that. Not this evening. No, he wished to take her, secure in the knowledge that she craved the touch he could grant her. He knew rumours of his preferences were fluctuating the castle, as well as most of the kingdom no doubt, and he suspected it was part of what had drawn this little flower to him, her eyes wilfully and repeatedly seeking his from across various rooms for the past few weeks.

“I’d get my hands off of those if I were you.” Marcus leaned against the door frame to the large bedroom, effectively blocking her exit. The bedroom was on the second floor, and there were guards prowling the gardens just as he kept an eye on the inside of the party, so crawling out the window wouldn’t be the smartest plan either. His eyes travelled her slowly before making their way to her face, a brow arching slightly in challenge. “The lady of the house is somewhat fond of her jewellery, you see,” he pointed out, nodding towards the box the greedy little thief had already dug her hand into. Now, Marcus could commend a job well done, but she’d literally gotten caught with her hand in the cookie jar, so he had very little in the way of sympathies. Not that he ever did, but at least if she hadn’t gotten caught, she wouldn’t have had to deal with it.

"You have ten minutes to put on something sexy and be ready to open the door. Twelve, if traffic is slow."

Declan pressed send without further thought, and slipped the phone back into the inside pocket of his tailor-made suit jacket. Then he offered a simple nod to his driver, who promptly steered the sleek, black Mercedes onto the road. He didn’t check to see if she replied, primarily because he fully expected her to do what he paid for; be at his beck and call. No questions asked. Complete devotion to him and him alone. Just the way he liked it. Exactly ten minutes and thirty-six seconds after sending the text, Declan was at her door, knuckle rapping gently against the wooden surface.

“This is a great bar, but not somewhere I’d expect to find a girl like you,” Marcus remarked casually as he slid in beside the woman in question. He smiled at her. “Not that I’m not pleasantly surprised.” He’d seen her a few times when he’d gone to Archer Inc’s offices, had noted the looks, even returning a few of them with a slight curve of his lips to communicate his interest. He knew there was office gossip about him, but whether she paid attention to it, he didn’t know, and to be frank... he also didn’t care. Nor did he care whether she’d come to this bar specifically because she knew he frequented the place. It could be a coincidence for all he knew. 

"It is an affectation to be sure, but one I could not do without." The Star Warrior's next words contained a hint of self-consciousness, a rare occurrence to be sure. "This may sound strange, but I associate this mask with the same sense of identity as one would with their face. For me, this is my face. My soul."

The light blue haired beauty looked up at the stars at the rooftop of the guild. Being in her favorite spot, she just laid back on the floor. Relaxing, she could hear the fights going on inside, obvious by the loud sounds coming in through the door of the stairwell. It was Rogue and Sting fighting about something stupid, yet again. Not really giving into the shenanigans of the Twin Dragons, she ignored them and proceeded to go upstairs, even if it was to be alone for a few minutes

Drinking her soda, she lifted up on her elbows. Hearing a few footsteps coming up, she didn’t bother looking back as she could sense the energy coming to greet her.
