It hadn’t been until Sun Ce sat down on his chair that he had become aware of how heavy his armor felt. He raised one hand to push off one of the (now) dirty combat bracers he had worn, not caring as it hit the ground with a thunk that had been loud enough to make the chirping birds in the nearby tree outside his window stop and fly off. Next came the other bracer, then the greaves on his legs, and then the spaulders on his shoulders until only the leather and cloth parts remained.
Sun Ce stretched, and with it came a loud sigh before he tugged at the leather next and let it fall into a pile. Once the upper half of his clothing was gone, his fingers combed through his bangs and then up to slowly pull the red tie keeping his ponytail up. The hair tie had been the only thing he was careful about removing; he set the tie on the end table next to his chair and then with another loud exhale, he leaned back in the chair until it was tilted slightly.
Sun Ce kept himself balanced, even as he folded his arms over his now bare chest and tilted his head back and shut his eyes. On occasion the chimes he had kept in his room for years would ring as a breeze passed by, and the sounds of water being sloshed about by people outside as they hurried to get out of the rain that had effectively cancelled the rest of his training plans. All in all, nothing was out of the ordinary.
Sun Ce would grow bored soon, he knew it, but for now, he wanted to rest.
