hello, caratblr! we're hosting our first event — a raffle! join us in supporting gaza's people by participating. here’s how it works:

raffle details:

you can enter by making a donation to one of the below campaigns.

minimum donation: $1 (each $1 = 1 entry). gofundme has a platform policy where they require a minimum donation of $5, however the min for the other campaigns is $1.

enter as many times as you like! every dollar counts and every entry helps. we will never touch any money, it is to be donated directly to your organization of choice!

where to donate: the choice is yours and the options are as follows

via gazafunds: individual stagnant gofundme campaigns: your donation here will directly impact families in gaza.

crips for esims for gaza: esims are critically needed in gaza, and your donation will help families stay connected. (information | donate)

help gaza's children: this campaign is palestinian-run and helps to buy food, clothing, supplies and sometimes, even toys for gaza's little ones. (information | donate)

gaza wound care: a campaign run by some of gaza's doctors to cover the cost of treating the sick and wounded

this is in addition to the gazafunds option as well as the e-sim donation pool, linked in our pinned post. e-sims are in extremely high demand at the moment and are key to those in gaza staying in contact with their loved ones as well as the rest of the world. if you can afford to donate toward one, i would highly encourage you to do so. again, no amount is too little. thank you all so much for your contributions and your help in sharing! and thank you to the other admins for their hard work in fulfilling our requests!! may this only be the first milestone of many <3

✎ london sets down a strawberry milkshake in front of nuri because his favourite flavour is not something she’s going to forget anytime soon, not when she sees the way his eyes light up when he sees it on the table in front of him. if she’s being honest though, she does have an ulterior motive to buying him the drink, and whether or not he is aware this is subliminal bribery is an issue she isn’t going to dwell on. london has more important things at hand. 

“strawberry, right?” she says (even though she knows strawberry is right), fishing her notebook out her bag. the corners are dog-eared from constantly being taken out, put away and flicked through multiple times a day, the spine weak and frayed because wedging a pen right in between pages probably isn’t so great for the book’s integrity.

nevertheless, london opens it up to the next blank page, pen ready in her hand, and she resists the urge to start tapping the end against the polished wood of the table. 

“so, um, i kinda need your help with something, nu nu.” she’s not really sure how to word it all in a way that makes her sound like she’s Definitely Not A Creep. she’s probably going to need to accept the inevitable: there is no way she can word this next bit without sounding like a freak. “i kind of... need to stare at your face for a little while.”
