Summary: Merlin just wanted to go back in time to pull a prank on Arthur. It doesn't go as planned. His plans never do. Now he and King Arthur are back in the past to make sure their present doesn’t get destroyed. Confusing, he knows. He has a headache as well.

Merlin had magic. 

Even though his heart loathed to do it, he snatched his hand away from Merlin’s grip and took a few steps back, jerking as he stumbled into the table. Merlin looked wrecked. He had a subtle sheen to his eyes that Arthur couldn’t ignore, but he tried to anyway.
