“I’m getting some clothes for you.” said Lyla as she went in the back of the shop. She silently shaked her head. Tish really got some nerves, lying to that guy. Don Juan was the last and only possibility to get that chip. It worried Lyla that Tish seemed to treat him so uncareful. They didn’t know what would await them if they can’t finish the job.

While she went through the clothes in the little back-up closet she heard them bickering in the front. Hopefully, Don Juan regained his good spirit because he would need it for tonight.

Both of them are well known in the underground of the Dirty Backyard. They run the Workshop together that Lyla inherited from her father five years ago after he died under unexplained circumstances. Since then their little, inconspicious shop flourished and build a reputation as being the most discreet and competent among certain kinds of Backyard residents.

Lyla is the tinkerer who can fix nearly everything that she gets her hands on. She knows the solution to every technical problem and doesn’t ask questions about the origins of this certified military microchip you got there.

Hestia, on the other hand, has a talent for finding things. It doesn’t matter if it’s a spare Lyla needs for her work or some dubious artefacts that definitely got into the wrong hands. But with that special ability a lot of here jobs are neither legal nor safe. The money in exchange makes up for it. At least most of the time.
