KING KILLING
The retro racer wheezed and leaned against one of the walls to Creeper's box of a home, his strength having been drained already just getting inside. It wasn't as if the activity of getting in had been particularly draining physically (though it did take quite a bit of puzzle solving and effort to break through the mega virus' backdoor, even with the advice the old sprite had received from his long deceased friend Mute). However what Modless hadn't been planning on was how damn exhausting being a sleeper was. The infected sprite gritted his teeth as he attempted to ignore throbbing code pains and an increasingly distracting migraine that had been plaguing him since willingly putting Creeper's strain within his own code. He just needed one minute to catch his breath before looking for the son of a glitch. Okay, maybe two. Modless closed his eyes and shook his head as if hoping that would dispel the illness he was feeling. It was difficult to stay on task when he was as dizzy and achy as he currently was. Though when the ex-protagonist swore he could hear something hissing some indistinguishable words in his head the tiny sprite snapped his eyes open and decided to get a move on. The old racer glanced around the room warily, taking in the sights. There was an odd mixture of relief and annoyance when the monster himself wasn't anywhere in the room, though the dread of having to wander the strange environment to hunt down the predator did overtake any comfort not immediately running into Creeper gave Modless. A scowl did form on his lips when he glanced over Creeper's couch and after a moment of careful consideration, Modless walked over and bent down to lick the arm of it. The sprite made a small disgusted noise at the taste, but couldn't help the self-satisfied feeling that followed. There. He told the bastard he'd get back at him for licking his bench. It was about time he did so.
