As a male wrestling fan, lemme say this; it makes no sense for Bayley, who fought the likes of Asuka twice (and gave her an insanely competitive match both times), tapped out Nia Jax, fought in the first female Iron Match in the WWE system, AND had her hand broken by Sasha Banks (and still won) -- to be afraid of GETTING HIT BY A STICK WIELDED BY A 5 FOOT TALL WOMAN AND GET PUT DOWN BY A SINGLE DDT. That match, BTW, is considered a serious runner for Worst MOTY. Unbelievable.

Bayley CARED ABOUT THINGS enough to GET ANGRY ABOUT THEM. She cared enough about the title to do whatever it took to win it (within the rules obviously) not just for herself, but for US! Because she wanted to win for US! And because she wanted to beat THIS BULLY! Her kindness didnāt make her naive or weak!!!!! Bayley is ALL ABOUT HEART! On the hopeful side, things can change so quickly in wrestling. I mean look at Jinder Mahal. Or Dean losing to Brock at Wrestlemania and becoming World Champion just a few months later at Money in the Bank. And they have two brands to shuffle people between now, so itās easier than ever before to give someone a reboot. But fuck. this has been upsetting. I donāt need my favorites to win all the time. I donāt need them to hold titles. But I doĀ need them to stay true to the characters. to be treated with respect and thought by the writers. i didnāt think THAT THAT WAS AN UNTENABLE DREAM MY GOD
