JORDDYYY!!! Oh my gosh, the way Lee captures the perfect duality of reality and dreamlike!!! I do not ever know how you do it, but you truly create and develop a character who makes me feel deeply connected with so wonderfully well, finding Lee to be more than a character; a real person with real emotions and thoughts. As well as he carries the kind of ethereal, mysterious energy that always get me going :000 while he strike me in wonder whenever I see a reply or headcanon of him on my dash, wanting to learn more about him and his universe... The details in your writings and headcanons are just remarkable and they are all forever beyond delightful to read, and, again, how you deliver that both real and dreamlike energy of Lee through them is a thing I find amazing when I personally think it is not easy to have a balance of these two very contrasting elements. Lee is definitely one of my favourite original characters to ever exist and I am forever beyond grateful I got to know him and you. Just, please know that you and your wonderful Lee have all of my and ?'s love and more!!! <3 <3 <3
how am i doing with my character? /// (+ accepting!)
mori, your enthusiasm (and general presence) has immediately become a staple of my dashboard. your excitement for your own character and world as well as others' characters/worlds is infectious and really freeing to see. you are so giving with your time and thoughts and although i haven't whipped up any replies for you yet (there's an ic ask you sent that i am responding to), i'm excited by all the prospects. i remember the thrilled awe i felt when i browsed through your account for the first time. a metafiction character that can/will adapt to not only another's muse but the writer's ideas and biases is an absolutely fascinating concept that i'm still so taken by. ? has me hook line and sinker for better and worst.
reality and dreamlike truly is the key feature i'm trying to play with here. beyond ecstatic that you think i've been able to produce such a balance.
lee coming off as ethereal and mysterious is so amusing but does make sense. i, the writer, am very proud and chuffed by that. but it's so funny to picture lee, in his usual exhausted state, wearing a flannel shirt and boxers and, like, sitting at his kitchen table drinking coffee from the same uncleaned mug he's used all week (lined with six different partially overlapping levels of stained rims on the inside) and being like "that guy's ethereal".
anyway. this is all so so so flattering and i feel so seen and, like, successful.
