i like horses. yes they are on some level scary and could probably kill you in one hit but they’re also big and full of love
It truly is amazing to feel the impact animals can have on my well-being. I grew up basically living and breathing horses and lately I haven’t really been able to maintain consistent contact with them due to work loads and restrictions for university. But just a few days ago I had the opportunity to practice cardiovascular and respiratory examinations on a horse and I spent at least half the time stroking and talking to the horse. Afterwards I felt like I could tackle anything, even a gnarly 3 hour dissection that I had just afterwards. It is phenomenal being able to feel the difference these specific individuals can make in my health and emotions, something no other species can make.
Does anyone else have this feeling? With what species if it’s specific?
