Just a thought after that ask, because there are quite a few new people here since I last said this—
My editing process is to simply rewrite the draft. Literally, I put the draft on one side of the screen and a blank doc on the other side, then I completely rewrite it again. This takes an ungodly amount of time, hence why it can take several weeks. But the way I draft absolutely necessitates this, since so much of the drafting is the very first thought that came into my mind.
