cafe latte
the rich aroma of coffee brewing invites woohyun inside the quaint-looking coffee shop. though it's only past eight in the morning, most of the seats are occupied by business men and yes, woohyun observes, the usual coffee goers with their noses glued to the pages of the book they're reading.
to be honest, woohyun isn't really a morning person. on a normal day, woohyun would wake up by lunch time, sprawled on jinah's couch with a bag of opened potato chips from last night's movie marathon (he just can't finish lord of the rings in one sitting). he could be the epitome of a sloth and not care because this life feels so much better than getting scolded by his vocal coach. it would have stayed that way--if it weren't for that attractive lady he saw three days ago at the cafe.
perhaps woohyun's just that lucky, considering that the cafe isn't that far from jinah's apartment aka his current address because he's part-time freeloader. walking doesn't kill him, especially when he knows he's about to see that pretty waitress.
so he visits her everyday since last monday, managed to get her name--taeyeon--according to the name plate fastened on her apron and attempted to strike a conversation or two while she doesn't look too stressed over the orders.
a foreign-looking man walks past woohyun, leaving his table with a pile of mess. he of course, takes the opportunity before anyone else and occupies the table. woohyun scans around, in hopes of seeing her---or you know, find someone to fix the mess.
"hey, can someone clean up this table for me?" he says at the waiter nearby. "oh and i want my usual waitress--taeyeon, was it?" and maybe he sounds too demanding but hey, it's not everyday when some attractive girl serves you pancakes and coffee--and if this is the only way for woohyun to get that, then he'll do whatever.
