chiharu would be sooOOOO happy to a pet... she wouldn't be picky as long as it was a mammal tbh but she actually... really likes cats? her dream is having a ragdoll cat... or two... or three yukie on the other hand would be VERY SCARED OF MOST POTENTIAL PETS dogs are the worst but... even small cute pets?? nah she's scared of them if they have fur. she's actually... a little bit better with reptiles and birds, but she's still not good at actually taking care of them...... she'd be perfectly happy with fish tho ayu has no time for pets mona used to have a pet sheep. i'm not making this up, this girl has owned a real live sheep

i-- i feel like i say it more than i need to but yukie is godawful at most games. fighting games are no exception... she'd probably pick rosalina because she's pretty and magic. she'd die a lot but try her best to help teammates out :')

mona is all over the place but usually goes for older or gimmick-y characters. she's really annoying to play against because the second she starts doing well she gets this absurd shit-eating grin and taunts at any possible moment. destroy mona fukuwara
chiharu would probably main robin... and be pretty good with her! she's not a competitive player obviously but she'd just do really well overall. she also plays jigglypuff sometimes but only when she wants to lose wwwww

i’m still really pumped about the despair syndrome motive.. .… … i’ve been putting a lot of thought into how it’d work for my characters!!!
(note: i could ramble a LOT about despair syndrome but i won’t… but! the biggest key to understanding people’s reactions is that it doesn’t turn the victims into their opposite, but rather the type of person they’d hate to be! akane makes it really clear because she says several times in the game that crying is showing weakness which is totally unacceptable— so when she’s infected she becomes a total crybaby. that’s really why i like the motive so much: it reveals a ton about the characters involved and their values)
yukie: childish
childish isn't really a good way to describe how she'd act but immature isn't either? it's more like... what she hates the most are shitty bullies, but she equates that with being a child in her head? (more like with her own childhood lol) so despair syndrome yukie would probably act like a little kid... but specifically one of those really mean kids who sucks up to people and probably kills them with shovels. i actually vaguely remember tossing around ideas for a yukie murder involving her accidently killing someone and burying them like when she was a kid...
ayuo: apathetic
it's very shocking i know but ayuo gets kind of pissed at people who don't have any passion! like she won't go up to someone and be like "fuck u" but it's such a... almost foreign concept to her? why would you NOT focus constantly on the thing you like. wtf. so with despair syndrome ayuo would just... not care about anything. she'd lay around and be sick. anyone taking care of her would have an easy time but at the same time she's also be REALLY easy to kill rip
mona: abusive
mona is... surprisingly straightforward all things considered! she may be a shitty person but there are very specific traits she associates with her birth father and thus abuse. being loud and angry is one of them (and she'll think lowly of those sort of people even if they aren't bad people bc of this) along with being quick to threaten violence... so yeah despair syndrome mona would be all of those things and thus Not A Fun Person To Deal With. fun note: another thing she associates with him is openly smoking so the whole weed thing kind of highlights how badly the mutual killing game fucked her up :^)
