Man stfu—me, a brown skinned genderqueer child of a latina immigrant, having kids isn't the same as a white Christian cis woman who has more than 3 kids with a husband who puts all the workload on her

The government has made efforts to not let latines have children. One example is the forced sterilization of latinas without their consent. For them, ideally, America would be all white and all latines would be forced out, sterilized, and/or killed.

Me not having children is exactly what the government wants. Someone like me shouldn't have a family because of my identities. The world we live in isn't stable, but to say it's "selfish" when you don't know my plans for my pregnancy and how I would take care of my children is so fucking dumb

(I've been waiting years to have a kid and I want one after I graduate and have a stable income with money and other supplies prepped—Im not just gonna pop a kid whenever 💀)

People are allowed to choose whether they can have a family or not. I encourage people to not have a fucking baby and don't agree with having babies recklessly because of how I've seen others treat their kids when they weren't prepared for them, but if people want kids then they should get to have that choice too. It just has to be well thought out.

My choice of deciding to have a family isn't for you to immediately dismiss as "selfish".

If you don't want a family, that's fine—great even! Kudos to you, genuinely, but if I'm excited to be a brown trans man who gets pregnant?
