It wasn’t like Leif had been avoiding his family. He didn’t actively go out of his way not to talk to him. But since he usually traveled a lot with Bridgette and didn’t use his phone much when he was home. It just kind of turned out that way. Especially, now that he was kind of keeping a really big secret to himself. Either way, he was happy when he spotted his favorite cousin entering the restaurant. “You look amazing,” slipped from his lips instantly as he stood up to pull her into a hug. He could feel the weight of her baby bump press against him as he did. It was still wild to think that she was going to be a mom. A wonderful mom at that. “How are you, How is Luca, How is the little bean?” he asked happily as they settled down into their seats. He figured if he just focused on her.
