Splitting her life between the living and the dead made Arae’s concept of time a little warped. She still couldn’t believe that it had been ten years since they’d come over from the Isle. After really thinking about it, it made sense. A lot had happened since then. But it still seemed a little surreal. The knock at her apartment door pulled her out of her mind. It was quickly followed by three deep barks. “Píso. kathíste,” slipped from her lips in a firm tone as she pushed pass three large mastiffs to pull the door open. The dogs moved to sit obediently off to the side. “Oh, it's you.” slipped from her lips as she shifted out of the way so that her brother could come in. Despite here response, there was a light smile at the corner of her lips. “Just you? Or are the miniatures around the corner?” Arae was still very much getting used to the idea of children. Especially, children that spawned from her brother. @nate-thana

Arae would have never admitted it, but she was actually enjoying the party. It was a nice change from the time on the isle. It reminded her that this was another world, a world she hopefully got to stay in. She’d chatted with a few people, ate a little and was currently nursing a drink as she wandered. Spotting her brother not too far away she smiled she came up around the side of him. “Look at you,” she chimed in an amusement. It was still weird seeing her twin dressed up. “You clean up well, big brother.” she chuckled lightly. Bringing her lips to her glass she took a little sip. “I honestly didn’t think I would actually see you here tonight.” @nate-thana

“hey there, stranger,” she asked as she slid a beer towards her twin. It felt like ages since they got to chat. It was probably her fault. If it didn't have to do with work or class, Arae had been leaving her dorm for very little. She still had a million finishing touches to add to her garments. It made her a little anxious just thinking about it. She pushed the feeling down. She didn’t need her powers acting up while she was in public. That would go over well. Licking her lips she sat down on the stool next to him. “How has your week been?” @nate-thana
