✤ — a memory that involves romance/love (sorry I’m easy to predict)
(Yes I’ve been hoarding this until this comic was completed.)
(HC for a possible ~first kiss~ for these two, a highly treasured memory.)
(Maybe it’s a memory. Maybe it was a dream.)

Episode: Double Dipper Sixer
Aggie swung her skinny legs through the spindles of the landing, looking down into the party. She'd gotten one too many weird glances from people and one too many thinly veiled insults, so she opted to stay out of everyone's way. She would have left, but her Ma wasn't going to come back for her until their agreed upon rendezvous time. She'd have to wait it out.
She sighs, resting her forehead on the spindles. Even after making a few friends, she's still finding it impossible to just exist among other kids. At least the boys' Great Aunt was nice to her and had given her permission to duck into the shack if she needed a break, but she didn't want a break. She wanted to be down there, with the other kids, being normal. But one mean look and one insult had her sitting all alone. Just another freak, by herself, as usual.
She'd seen Sixer come by a few times- like, a lot of times, actually. Odd, considering he was supposed to be running the ticket stand. She'd seen Stanley earlier, and he'd seen her- but he'd been in the middle of talking to someone so all that passed between them was a wave.
She holds the spindles like they're jail cell bars, feeling like the bits of wood really are separating her from the rest of the world. It looked fun, dancing and running around... Her face scrunches up involuntarily as she feels tears sting at her eyes. She rubs at them roughly, trying to focus on whatever is going on by the DJ booth. Looks like people are doing karaoke.

From This List of Prompts
Gravity Falls, 1982. Late winter, Early Spring. Post Portal. The house of “Stanford” Pines.
“Stanley Pines.” She says firmly, forcing her voice to stay as level as she could. “That couldn’t be further from the truth.”
It had been a whirlwind, coming back to Oregon, inheriting her fathers house and money, and finding her long lost best friend from childhood. They had a lot to catch up on but Stan had made it clear it wasn’t ideal to be talking in town, though he hadn’t explained why. But she didn’t question it, she was just happy to see him. Actually, happy was an understatement. Apart from the birth of her son, seeing him had been the best moment she’d had since she was fourteen years old.
They’d caught up, filled each other in the last 15-odd years. She hadn’t revealed everything, nothing about the magic or her coven, but she had told him about her son (and introduced the two) and a bit about her semi-nomadic lifestyle. She got the distinct impression he wasn’t telling her everything either, but she couldn’t fault him for that. It sounds like his life had been hard too. Way harder than Aggie had ever imagined it could have been. That’s part of what kept her coming back to his house, offering food and company. He’d taken her up on it gladly, no doubt having home cooked meals was better than the survival scrounging he’d been doing. She was there every evening now, her son in tow as she cooked for a very exhausted Stan, who spent his days doing God-Knows-What, but he’d made it clear to her early on he needed those solid hours to do… Something. And it wasn’t her place to question that, but one thing she was starting to question was if he was feeling what she was feeling.
She’d loved him back then, as children. She loved him the way kids do, fully and completely. And she finds that those feelings are coming back as she watches him snooze at the table while she cooked or when he took some time to chat with Bobby, who had quickly grown rather fond of his mothers old friend. She thinks she could do this forever, seeing him every day, rebuilding what they’d lost. Building what they could have had, if their lives had been different.
Rejection would have stung but she could accept it. But that’s not what this was. Even with the unspoken things between them, secrets aside, Aggie knows he feels something too. He has to. People didn’t look at each other like they did, not unless if there was was something there. No, it’s not rejection. It’s trying to hide, and Aggie Yearling is sick of hiding. And he’s the one person she never wanted to hide from.
“My life got worse the second I left you in Jersey. It’s only gotten worse! The only good thing that’s have happened to me since then are having my boy,” She points out of the room in the direction of the spare room where Bobby was fast asleep on a couch. “And finding you again. That’s IT.” She steps up to him, looking into his tired eyes which age him significantly. What’s happened to him? What happened to the fiery spirited boy?
“I haven’t felt right since I lost you, Stanley. I didn’t even know it but I think I’ve been looking for you this whole time because here? With you? I finally feel like myself again.” She grabs his shoulders. “I don’t care what’s happened. I don’t care what you’ve done. I’ve done stuff too, bad stuff!” She can’t quite keep her voice as level now as tears sting her eyes. “I don’t care! It’s you, Stanley! It’s always been you, you’ve always been the person for me.” Her hands slip down his shoulders, taking his hands. “I just got you back. I’m not losing you again, you hear me?” Tears slip down her thin face, her grip on his hands tightening. “You don’t really believe that do you? That you’d ever make my life worse? All you’ve ever done for me is make things better, Stanley.”
**still in relativity falls hell of course but I’m thinking about the subsequent summers after 2012 and how these two little creatures deal with growing up
**Especially that time period where Stan wore his glasses and had braces, peak awkward teen era, I love to think about that silly time for him
**And the fact is that Aggie’s crush on him is so strong that even when he’s at this peak awkward phase she is still fully smitten with him is CUTE I don’t CARE if it’s cringe have you ever been 14/15?? The heart wants what it wants even if he has braces
**I also think it contrasts nicely with the fact that puberty is pretty kind to Aggie, she’s sort of at her prettiest when she’s in her early to mid teens. She’s still something of a weird kid who isn’t afraid to hit people who bug her so she still isn’t all that popular but she’s definitely got a few more sets of eyes looking at her, and she still has to beat back stupid and persistent Jesse Stonewall back with a stick. She still only has eyes for her cross the country bestie 😭
**I think about their dynamic a normal amount I swear
Edit: I wanted to talk about a couple little details on Aggie
**Canon Aggie pretty much always wears a locket that’s magical in origin that contains photos of Bobby, Olive, and a very small piece of bluish glass. RF Aggie wears one that is ordinary but it has a picture of her and her Ma in one side and a picture of her and the friends she made in summer 2012 in the other (The Stans and Fidds) She always wears it, well into her late teens and probably into adulthood too. It’s got some little charms on it to keep it from breaking or getting lost.
**the friendship bracelets are actually ones she made with her friends names on them so even when they all go back to where they’re all from she can still have them around in a way. She gets REALLY lonely after they all* leave :(
* **idk if Fidds lives in GF or not I go back and forth

(Assuming this is for muse) P, Q, S
Questions Here P: Who is the most irritating person you have interacted with?
"Apart from the Pines family and a few close friends, Gideon Gleeful is the only person in town who knows about my magic, since he was the only person in town who seemed to be paying any attention to me during Weirdmageddon. This has in a way, robbed me of personal peace. He wants me to teach him magic, which I wouldn't do even if I could teach him. He may be turning his life around, but he was rotten all summer and he was rotten before that, too. Plus, I dunno if you knew this, but his grandfather used to live in this town too way back when, and he and I did not get along. So when I see Gideon I'm filled with this 40+ years old instinctual need to punch. Considering he's what, nine? Can't be doing that, now can I?"
Q: Who do you actually consider a friend, but won’t admit to?
"Most people know her as the Hand Witch but I know her as Bethandy. There aren't a lot of witches in the area, so I don't exactly have a plethora of choices of people to get together and talk shop with. But I've known her since I moved here, she clocked me as a witch right away when I met her at a swap-meet. We used to play cards, but I caught her cheating one too many times so I stopped going to her place (Plus some of those hands of hers are grabby!). We still get together sometimes to gossip over drinks, but ever since she landed that hiker boyfriend of hers I usually only see her in the Crawlspace when I swing through there. I'm not ashamed to admit she's my friend but I fear that it might reflect poorly on me if I'm friends with someone who steals men's hands for kicks."
S: What lies do you most often tell yourself?
"Oh, lets see. When it comes to myself, I'm brutally honest. Lying to myself doesn't really make me feel better, it just sends me in circles. But there is one lie that I do say, to my self and to others. Frequently."
@ask-mister-mystery sent “When was the last time you slept?” Sleep Deprivation Starters
"Mmm.." Aggie narrows her eyes, thinking. She wants to lie, and say that she'd slept the previous night, but Stan was better than most at clocking a lie from her. Olive (Who had called Stan to perform a sort of "sleep Intervention" for her grandmother) and her son could be fooled, but the guy who literally taught her how to lie? No chance.
She'd managed a few short naps the last few days, likely the result of her body simply being unable to stay awake. The truth is, she's been awake basically non stop since Sunday, and it was currently Thursday. The truth will probably get her lectured or ushered to bed (where she did not wish to be). But a lie would probably be worse, she really doesn't like to lie to him.
"Sunday." She admits, yawning. "Sunday night when I went to bed, I got about three hours and then," She waves her hand casually, "Just kinda got away from me. You know how it is." It is very not normal to go so long without proper sleep, but for a witch, it's not... That unheard of. It certainly wasn't for her, with how intense her dreams can be. Lately her dreams were more upsetting and violent than usual, as they usually got worse as the days grew shorter and colder. She was used to it, but she wasn't used to other people having to deal with it.
"I'm fine." She adds, a likely fruitless attempt to assure him. She certainly doesn't look fine as she stifles another yawn behind her hand.
