the thing about sana was that she got easily comfortable with people despite whatever situation (or relationship status) she was in. she found no error in clinging onto another boy or girl when technically speaking she was ‘taken’. so when a good friend of her’s had invited her to go to watch a movie with him (and subsequently, a dinner) sana had only agreed and sent him the cat smiling emoji.

“ah, i’m so full!” she whined, patting her belly and sending her friend a smile. “you should treat me out more often! i love not spending my own money for my stuff!” she was kidding –– a little –– but that had sparked laughter from the boy beside her, the older man simply wrapping his arms around her shoulder.

of course to any one else this would look vile like an act of cheating ! but it was sana and her boyfriend was jeon jeongguk. the both of them, despite being in a relationship, were still unable to tear themselves away from the opposite sex. sana though, at least knew enough to not go around kissing other boys (she wasn’t so sure if she could say the same for jeongguk). and that part of her made her annoy, almost a little angry because despite the both of them being together, she never felt as though he was exclusively hers. and she never knew if she wanted to be exclusively his as well.

“i’ve never seen someone look that bad,” sana giggles, looping an arm into her bff’s. she’s not a particularly nice person but well, nayeon isn’t too far from being a not-so-nice person as well. it works out perfectly! “i’m sure that i’ll get the lead role though. the director would be blind to pick that glasses framed baby over me,” she shrugs, tugging nayeon along the pathway.

but it’s then when the words “KARAOKE” catch her attention and sana has to do a double take, halting herself halfway. “nayeon!” she grins, pulling at her friend. “let’s go!” she points at the neon sign and then at the pricing placed outside the store: “$10/hour”.  

“i like the way you smell,” sana giggles, reaching out a hand to link arms with her friend. “reminds me of the sea –– or the sea if it was covered in like... victoria’s secret!” she doesn’t miss the stare that nahyun gives her but she doesn’t take it to heart, the both of them share this funny kind of friendship.

sana’s sure that nahyun doesn’t like her very much but she really likes nahyun, more so because the both of them always have a lot of shit to talk about. for example; their shared ex-boyfriend –– the one who’d they both caught cheating on one another.

“anyway, any updates on him?” sana raises a brow and uses a hand to cup her chin. she’s always been more invested in getting revenge than nahyun who by comparison was a lot more on the chiller side. whenever sana suggests a ‘john tucker must die’ situation nahyun always brushes her off, mostly telling her that she doesn’t know of a john tucker must die. “i heard that he’s been sleeping around with some ... pink haired girl,” sana off-handedly says, using her free hand to twirl at nahyun’s hair. “i give them two weeks.”
