       “Yeah, honestly? That’s not even the weirdest thing I’ve seen today.” // @tiltedhalos​ ♥’d (for frankie)!

       Given that his after school activities involve crimefighting and webslinging all over Queens, he’d like to think that he’s learned how to spot suspicious behavior by now. If nothing else, this guy definitely doesn’t look like a lost tourist who got off on the wrong subway stop. “You, uh, looking for something, buddy?” he asks, which, in retrospect, might not have been the best way to approach this. // @hellfirebound​ ♥’d (for peter)!

       He’s really starting to wonder if changing into his costume at Starbucks or something might be a better idea. The whole ‘alleyway switcharoo’ thing just isn’t working— or at least, he’s pretty sure it isn’t. Case and point, he’d just tossed his backpack off in one and is about to change when he notices that he has company. “Um,” he says eloquently, “I’ve got the 4 o’clock time slot here?” // @themonstrovs​ ♥’d (felicia; for peter)!

        He has a few hours to kill before May gets home and everything seems pretty quiet on the Spider-man front (for once), so he figures that now’s as good a time as ever to go dumpster diving. Whatever he finds probably isn’t going top that DVD player, but it’s worth a shot. In fact, he’s almost halfway to his favorite spot when he almost walks straight into someone, which has him backing up and apologizing. “Oh jeez, uh— I’m so sorry, dude.” // @hellfirebound ♥’d (for peter)!

       “I had that,” he says, even though all evidence points to the fact that he did not have that. Okay, so maybe he’d gotten in a little over his head, but it was nothing that Spider-man couldn’t handle. Hopefully. And hey, at least no one got hurt. “I was just— y’know, testing your reflexes!        He really shouldn’t be surprised. Seeing people in weird costumes kinda comes with his line of work. However, seeing people in costumes eerily similar to his is a different matter entirely. It comes a little too close to copyright infringement, for one thing. “Hey, I always love meeting a fan, but the spider-thing is kinda...my thing,” he says, then pauses when he notices the look that the other costumed hero is giving him— or what he can see under the mask, anyway. “You okay? You’re looking at me kinda funny, which says something, all things considered.” // @heroesumus​ ♥’d (mattie; for peter)!

       The first thing that Peter notices when he comes to is that he’s on the ground— which is kind of disorienting, given that he doesn’t remember passing out in the first place. That’s probably a sign of a concussion, or something. Whatever it is, it’s probably not a good sign. Then the whole scenario gets even more surreal when he sees a guy with long, brown hair leaning over him. How long had he been standing there? Peter’s in the middle of trying to figure out who he is when a realization hits him like a truck. It can’t be...can it? Well, if it is, his day just got at least a million times weirder. At least the uncanny resemblance would be explained, though. “Jesus?” // @exrussian ♥’d (for peter)!
