[ PLAY ] - our muses have fun at a playground at 1am.
The pair of friends had arrived at the nearest park inside the community of Loch Nora about a few minutes after Eddie waited forever for Chrissy to change out of her graduation party dress and into her favorite pink overalls, the wheels of their bikes screeching out when they hit the brakes.
"Eddie! Wait up!" Chrissy knew it was pointless, even if her small voice traveled throughout the park due to the very late hour, causing her to huff in irritation. For starters, she had to remove her helmet and pads, muttering under her breath how ridiculous her mother could be when it came to her daughter riding a simple bike. And then there was Eddie, who continued to become taller than her throughout the few years of knowing him, therefore he was already heading for playground.
The sound of Eddie's big feet slamming on the slide hit the silent night barrier which made Chrissy run over, not helping with reduced noise levels as her voice carried out in a strange echo. "Mom said we have to be quiet, or she's calling your uncle to pick you up!"
For being so petite, she was looking like she meant business with the scolding, even though she really wasn't helping with reduced noise levels as she started to climb the slide instead of using the ladder. "Then you won't get any fluffy buttermilk pancakes for breakfast."
There's a scuffle between them, her giggling carrying out when he tries to block her from passing him. "Stoooppppp!" Her small hand moves up to hold on to his head as she climbs over his shoulder and moves to sit down behind him, so they can slide down together.
