file rested idly in hand as nanami read it over. ichiji had given him a file and request from shoko ( one of the last people he thought would request his help ). the blond had originally said no, it wasn't his job to mentor students and what he had done for gojo was only supposed to be a one-time thing but the request and file laid before him seemed genuine enough. a student in need of field training and no one was available to help — aside from him.
inoue orihime. he'd had heard the name, only in passing. he was aware she was assisting shoko, which was pretty much his extent of knowledge on the girl. he understood she had a good grasp on reverse cursed technique and from the request given to him, required more offensive field training. this was the last time he would be doing this.
a sigh escaped nanami's lips as the file closed in his hands and he tucked it under his arm. he had his job and now he just needed to get orihime, which he figured would be in the morgue. a mere hop and skip away from his current position. saved him time at least.
footsteps echoed down the enclosed hallway and stopped abruptly as the sorcerer pushed open a metal door, entering the morgue. he stopped, a brief glance around before taking the few steps down to the ground floor. ❝ orihime. ❞ the stillness of the room caused his voice to almost lightly echo against its walls. he would never get used to the unsettling cold feeling of the room.
