psd.03 aka dusk tries to make a character specific psd

this psd is based on ichigo momomiya from tokyo mew mew. it brights reds & pinks a lot and turns blues into pinks. doesn’t work very well on icons with dark lighting. feel free to tweak if necessary but please don’t claim as your own if you tweak it alot.

psd no.2. aka dusk tries to photoshop

highlights reds and sometimes oranges and as such, is probably best suited for characters who are red themed (e.g. it works really nicely on Deadpool, Alucard from Hellsing or the Parr family’s superhero outfits from the Incredibles). it tends to brighten things as well, as the middle image was what it was designed for and was dark originally. 

from what I’ve tested, it’s not that great for characters with a pink focus or some animated characters and some tweaking might be necessary if you want it to work.

tweaked from a psd that I currently use for my dash icon & inspired by paine from final fantasy x-2 as it works best with her in mind. this psd brightens backgrounds, dulls yellows, enhances greens and slightly enhances reds. the middle 3 icons provide the best example of what this psd does on a dark background (middle) and two bright background (left and right) icons.

might not work on all dark backgrounds and might whitewash but i don’t mind if you edit it if that happens. download here.
