with @infmaddox / location: some random classroom for detention.
mai is no stranger to detentions. itâs only inevitable with the amount of trespassing and sneaking out she does. not to mention how often she talks back to teachers whenever sheâs called out for zoning out in class. but she doesnât consider it to be zoning out. she is focusing on something instead of just spacing out, itâs just that it isnât related to her class whatsoever.
though, sheâs sure she can find some way to link everything with the stuff she learns in her psychology class.
she waves at the detention monitor in charge of overseeing the detention, who doesnât seem amused by her gesture, and isnât surprised to see that sheâs the only student in the classroom - so far. she takes her seat by the window, waiting for the next few hours to be over with. when the door opens a few minutes later, she looks up and raises a brow at the unexpected guest.
well, this is a first.
eventually, a teacher comes in and the detention monitor leaves along with the teacher, leaving them to their own devices for a while. she casts a glance at her friend, then reaches into her bag to pull out a bag of crisps. there isnât an ounce of embarrassment in maiâs system when the sound from opening the bag fills the classroom, louder than usual when she struggles to open it for a a brief moment.
she turns to face him, extending the bag towards him.
