I watched the interlude and IMMEDIATELY ran to your blog WJHVSJHS. how. are we feeling.
HI NUTMEG. HOLYSHIT. I WAS WAITING TO SEE YOUR RESPONSE TOO HHHAUWHUGHUGWUH
I'M A BIT JET LAGGED.... BUT.... im so happy they kept her Sheer Audacity , and didn't throw away the fact she's clearly Wrong In The Head... It was so fun to see her experessions & hear her tone in a more natural setting- and it's only making me More curious to what extent merging with naberius changed her from the Her that albedo is familiar with....
I'm especially in love with the last expression here... since it reminds me so so so much of albedo. and im a loser faggot that loves when hoyo reestablishes their similarities among their obvious differences.
IM SO IN LOVE WITH HER OUTFIT REESTABLISHING THE THEMES WE SAW WITH HER TEACUP TOO..... "impurity" (black) existing alongside something "pure" (white & gold) ... the black being more or less hidden by the white & gold.... so on so fourth... SO GOOD
I'm also sooo deeply in love with the nods to the double helix & chromosomes & what not. since it's so so interesting in directly contrasting the magical nature that we previously associated with life in genshin, to something more scientific and capable of being understood by any given human.... smth smth breaking the barriers of humanity.
RHINE AND NABERIUS... TOO..... "My Dear Rhinedottir" ... WHO!!! THINKS OF!!! THIS STUFF !!!! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 -> Rhinedottir's most sane state is talking to the god in her head... i said "oh im sure"....
I think there's something very important to me about their dynamic as we see it right now... and Rhine's "Your nagging is one of the only things that can get under my skin" line is endlessly important to me.. Solely because of how well it ties into her humanity & self. but if i started talking abt her themes around humanity i wouldn't shut up. so i will leave it there
THE SHADES ARE. SO GOOD. TOO. I'm actually (maybe a bit shockingly) a fan of ronova's characterization... since the fact she isn't entirely apathetic or intimidating (lacking the right adjectives right now.. im sure you know what i. mean.) is one of my favorite reflections of the fact death isn't essentially a bad - or evil - thing; Istaroth taking that characterization (which. we obviously already knew she had. but. in this setting) instead is one of my favorite efforts at reestablishing the horror of many of the things we've seen in teyvat hasn't been the death. necessarily. but the story and time leading up to it..
ok. i will shut up now. my dms are open. happy rhinedottirday
