symbiosis really is sooooooo big forever -> like fuckkkk what do you mean we got a game all about how the consequences of misogyny & homophobia & general prejudice manifest and hurt people in unique ways. and how that hate only sows more pain in the world and continues to hurt people beyond who it was intended for. and how it's never too late

magnolia's affection for butterflies is suchhhh a beautiful reflection of herself and it makes me soooo sick -> smth abt the way society is (more often than not) unaware of the truth and depth of their existence beyond what's obvious and visibly fed to them, and have a tendency to immediately criticize them when they realize their nature and traits that are uncontrollable to them as creatures, solely because they (essentially) have created this image of them in their minds and are thrown off by the fact they're complex beyond that picture of them that exists in their mind

one of the most interesting parts of dove is seriously that she’s constantly fighting against her ‘‘nature’’ (specific ref to her animal counterpart being a wolf & etc.) to be a good person -> like she sincerely only fucks up things when she’s in a poor mental state, and isn’t thinking clearly or keeping things in check, &/or is so fixated on a prevailing idea of justice/“good” that she fails to acknowledge or consider the possible nuances or consequences . And it’s soooooo gooooddddd

symbiosis's title being meant to imply mint's inhumanity & bc of that. by extent implying magnolia's. for it to work -> and the entire game reinforcing how the most integral part of both of them is how human they are

soooooo muchhhh of symbiosis of leads back to the entire idea of any persons’ capability of being better despite circumstances -> and I think one of the best parts of it is that magnolia better encompasses it than dove -> which then goes onto reestablish how sm of symbiosis is abt deconstructing biases & the impact of perspective

it’s a bit crazy to me that people play symbiosis and take away the idea that magnolia is genuinely Just all the things other ppl said and titled her as -> when the entire story is about proving the complexity beneath it and how she was always human (complex) and capable of other things beneath it all -> esp with how it’s a blatant misunderstanding of the themes of the story to take it as astounding information that she is capable of these emotions and relationships
