It’s the day of Mothers! And of course Aven is here to celebrate! “Mom!” He enters the room with a tray of food, both from their Hell and from his father’s Heaven. Among this is a card, one signed by all the kids that says
“To the best Mother anyone in the cosmos could have. You make Hell feel like Heaven, home would never be the same without you, we love you more than creation itself!”
He sets down the tray of food and gives her a huge hug. “You don’t gotta worry about anything today, we’re all pitching in to be sure you get the relaxing day you deserve. AND everyone’s gonna be on their best behaviors too, so… No explosions or rough housing and whatever. If there’s anything you wanna do today, let us know, if not, we got the whole day packed with stuff.”
Oh yes, the palace was going to be a buzz with ensuring Sue got a proper days rest and relaxation!
She swears all these kids are going to be the death of her someday, maybe that will be today, they seem more then eager to kill her with kindness. A card & breakfast so early in the morning already prepared. But she's willing to accept this sort of death.
Best behaviors... she can already picture Evrin struggling to keep Alice from acting out & smashing something. Not uncommon, a familiar memory, & one that's weirdly something she's fond of now.
"Come here." Sue's so happy to embrace Aven in a strong & tight squeeze, her precious baby boy, it doesn't matter if he's the second oldest, her children will always be her babies. The smile on her face & the softening of her eyes say enough.
"Oh, thank you, Aven. You all are so sweet to me, I think you might give me cavities~"
