here's my design for Ares, Lysander's shadow self / flame half. A feral berserk creature who's always in fight mode, with a keen predatory intellect behind all the teeth. It's constantly leashed and can't be reasoned with - nonverbal aside from inhuman screeching that makes even daemons shart a little.
thanks to biomancy, Lysander's fairly normal features shift into this thing when the body's consciousness is taken over. Ares has a tendency to rip its way out of power armour and dart around on warp currents, nipping in and out of perception to tear people's throats out. Yippeeee! :D
