October 20th’s word of the day was knackered, which meant tired, and Tristan thought that tired was a good way to describe how he was feeling as he apparated to Diagon Alley, wondering if there was a cafe open or if he was required to shower first.
He wasn’t that dirty, he just wanted coffee.
Exactly why he was required to check in on a colony of nocturnal animals and then update his boss on what he found in the morning wasn’t something Tristan was clear on. He was sure it could have waited another day, but instead there he was, a little time to spare in between, but not enough time for a nap.
Logic said that you probably shouldn’t approach someone wandering around so late, especially during a war, so Tristan didn’t expect anyone to bother him, nor did he expect to go up to anyone. Recognizing Nate or Fernando or whatever name he went by at the moment wasn’t part of the plan and considering he knew what Fernando did, the late hour wasn’t too surprising.
“What name do you have?” Tristan called out, not planning to bother the other for long. Just directions to somewhere open would be nice. @nathan-chastain
