glossy    lips    tease    the    rim    of    her    glass,    the    amber - colored    liquid    just    barely    kissing    her    top    lip    before    she    pulled    it    away.    her    eyes    moved    from    her    own    drink    in    hand    to    the    man    who    sat    beside    her    at    the    bar.    she    had    just    started    to    come    to    this    bar    on    her    nights    off,    not    regularly,    but    regularly    enough    to    have    her    eye    caught    by    the    handsome    piano    man.    they    had    talked    before,    she    even    tipped    him    ( which    she    could    barely    afford    to    do )    and    now    they    had    stayed    in    past    closing,    chatting    up    over    a    few    drinks    served    by    tom.    she    had    been    doodling    a    characture    of    drew    behind    the    piano    on    a    napkin    and    slide    it    to    him,    a    sly    grin    pulling    at    her    features.            ‘    oh ?    ’                she    replied,    a    soft    laugh    breaking    through    her    lips.                ‘    special,    huh ?    ’            she    placed    her    elbow    on    the    bar    and    turned    to    face    him,    her    cheek    resting    in    the    palm    of    her    hand.                ‘    why    do    you    think    that ?    ’                she    hums    drunkingly    into    her    glass.                    ‘    i’m    just    a    mayven    ---    i    mean    i’m    just    mayven   .   ’          /      @breathingliife
