Very interested in what Fool and Contrarian's interactions are like in the Rerun
they would likely play off each other very well.
i literally just made that decision when righting that so its not super thought out, he just seemed like the bonus voice that made the most sense.
what i was thinking is that Connie and the Narrator form what is essentially a pact of convenience, seeing as narrator doesn't like the fool taking control over the story (and trying to do the exact opposite of saving the world) and Contrarian doesn't like having so little autonomy, so they work together to slay the princess not because they want to work with each other or that their reasons aline, but just because the fool offends them personally for different reasons.
so you basically have two forces getting you to go to different places.
the narrator and contrarian trying to make you fight against the fool and slay the princess.
and the fool and the princess, just wanting to put on a proper show and NOT have anyone die.
i think outside of Chapter III Rerun they would get along so much better. just two silly guys who love to do bits and hate the narrator
