@failedprinceā liked for a starter!
Thereās a few things Clover misses from his time in Archimedes. The fresh ocean air, the wide open streets and twisting side paths, the fact that he only saw glimpses of his previous housemates maybe twice his entire time there. No awkward introductions or having to be told to not eat other peoplesā stuff in the fridge. That was pretty nice. Itās a shame it canāt be the same case here.
Whether itās because his luck shifts for just a second or because heās occupied, Clover doesnāt notice the click of the door unlatching over to the side. Heās sprawled out across a single couch cushion in front of the TV, watching some show or another about soulmates and ghost hunting on a regular lazy Thursday, as one does. His head tilts up at a flash of annoying pink in his vision, squinting over towards the foyer. Ah well, if theyāre here anyway...
āHiya, pal! You wanna come sit and chat for a second?ā He wiggles himself back up into a proper and polite sit, ankles crossed and one hand gently patting the seat behind him, welcoming.
