              Birthdays, at least for the Taylor family, were sort of a big deal. There was never one that passed that the family didn’t celebrate in some way — whether that be together, or ensuring something was spruced up on the day of to make the other smile, it was set in stone. This year, Aubrey’s friends had taken the reigns and placed her in the bustling night club, something out of Weston’s element, but seemingly right up Aubrey’s alley. A strange feat to think about, but one Weston didn’t pay much mind to any longer. As he ignored the slight March chill as he stood outside of the night club awaiting the push to head on inside arrival, a few buddies along side him, Weston nodded at the bouncer in thanks all while carrying the gift back in one hand, a half smile on his face when he entered the club. It actually took him some time to get through the first floor before finally nearing the private table he was told the birthday girl was taking over, having stopped quite a few time to say hello to the old and new friends, clearly a bit surprised to see the flannel clad brother within the nightclub for his sister. When she’d finally rounded the corner, flushed at her cheeks and a dazed smile on her face, he tried not to smile too big when he saw her. He may have not been the rock for his sister anymore, the past year had taken a toll on their relationship, but he was safe to take the leap and say she was at least happy. He hoped so, at least. That smile on her face told him as such. Weston, at the base of the first level with the old friend from high school he ran into, eventually excused himself to make his way up to surprise his sister, coming up behind her and leaning in to shock her. “Boo.”
