HEY GUYS DO MY OVERLORD A SOLID AND PLEDGE TO VOTE FOR HIS BDAY!!!

So I head into my one and only class on campus in my last semester of college. (Bless the stars) and I whip out my laptop. Now, if you have seen my laptop there is no question that I am into voltron. I’ve got all the paladudes on the front and Lance like thrice. 

So, this rather cool cat sees my laptop lid and leeeeeeeeeeeans over and is like. “Is that Voltron?” to which I reply. “Yes. I love.” Then they decide we are now besties and come to sit next to me. 

So my lock screen is my old URL Whathecheeze. Like it’s in BIG HUGE LETTERS WITH A PIC OF LANCE and Bi-flag hues. 

Kay so then this bitch is like...”IS THAT YOUR URL!?” 

And my brain is like...stalker alert??? 

“Yeaaaaaah.” 

“I’m @galaxydrowned!” 

I knew dis bitch lived in the same state but for some reason it never dawned on me we’d be going to the same school! 

So yeah we learned lots like...

And the most important thing:

After they way I would assume events of season 7 affected my boy, going back into the threads I currently have is...hard for me to do. I have decided to drop all threads that aren’t AU with a few exceptions which I will contact via private message. 

I’ve had a couple of people ask me why I’m so upset by this. I had a literal panic attack over they way Lance was treated in this episode. I hit a really low point 24 hours after. I thought I was the only one, but I’ve had several other people come to be and tell me how truly uncomfortable they were with what happened with Lance in that episode. 

I believe that Lance’s treatment by the rest of the team in this episode was highly abusive and in no way furthering the plot. Lance has been comic relief in the past and while I think he’s so much more than that, the constant belittling of his character was too much for many people to bear. 

In the beginning with Lance being bad at Pictionary, I was fine. I didn’t think it was very true to his character at all, but we all have that ONE friend who tried REALLY hard at that game and just...sucks. So yeah okay Lance is bad a pictionary sure. Everyone was miffed at him and I get it, but then Zarkon picks the ‘dumb one’ and yes okay as a strategy that makes sense. Pick the one who just did SUPER bad at the last game. But then Bob calls Lance dumb 7 times. No one EVER disputes it. 

They are supposed to be a team. They are supposed to be a unit. Lance is not just the comedy relief. Yes, Lance can’t remember people’s names. I can’t either. (Another reason why it was so close to home) Someone should have stood up to the blatant bullying against their friend.
