I like to think Souda is secretly really depressed, like he hates how he's living a kind of 'lie' being a new person and wanting to not be his old self, must be really hard trying to start all over really.
... I think Gundam and Souda would be on ok terms if Soina never existed THERE I SAID IT, I have this hatred towards Sonia because of how she treats Souda when she can simply say NO, anyways, I feel because of Sonia, Souda saw Gundam as a threat and I feel if she wasn't there, Souda and Gundam would be ok friends since they both are odd and know what it's like to be behind a mask basically.
Two fond childhood memories.
I think he's probably fond of the memories where he is working with his dad for the first time, like a little Souda having fun fixing stuff up it makes me happy to think of!!
Another is uh... Souda had a crappy childhood but I guess... Having his first crush, you know seeing a girl and being like "....Shes pretty I'mma go say hi!"
