Thank you for inspiring me and helping me feel less alone throughout high school and up until this very day. You were wise and talented beyond your years, and by all accounts one of the most generous, kind hearted individuals to ever grace this planet. I never met you, but through your music and the glimpses into your life via interviews and the videos you'd post yourself, I felt a connection to you in a very strange and deep way for somebody who I didn't actually know personally. There was this strange realization i had when i broke down crying after hearing the news of your passing, i realized just how much of an impact you had on my life that it hit me as hard as if i had lost a close friend. I wish you could've seen all of the love from all over the hip hop community, music community, and just people all over the world when they found out what had happened. You were so deeply cherished and so important to so many fucking people. I always dreamed one day if my own hip hop career ever took off that I would have the honor of meeting you. Now that you're gone I'm motivated to work even harder to reach that point even though my chance to meet you has passed. Perhaps in the next life we will cross paths. You put so much love out into the world and helped so many people even though you were struggling internally to help yourself, and that is one of the most admirable, beautiful, and yet heartbreaking things. You deserved so much more time on this earth, but you damn sure made the most of what you got. I love you man, we all love you, and I'll be dedicating every spliff I ever smoke for the rest of my life to you. Rest Easy Easy Mac. You will never be forgotten.
