It was dark, the sun long since faded on the horizon. The street lights buzzed softly while moths and other pests fluttered around in their beams. The air felt a bit humid in addition to its chill. Tsukiyama shifted his shoulders, shrugging his coat closed a bit more. Pulling a hand from his pocket, he reached into the jacket as he turned a corner.
With fluid steps, he padded lightly around spilt garbage, turning his nose up at the odor. He fixed his mask over his face before parting his lips to sigh. He absolutely could not believe that yet another human with such gorgeous eyes lived in such a low-class ward. However, once he had passed her, he knew they were to be his. He held a cheery hope that maybe he would find other refined delicacies within her once he was able to take a closer look.
Glancing up, he noted that the lights in her apartment were on. At least he would be rewarded for following her scent through such a disgusting alley. The things a Gourmet had to deal with to sate his palette.
No one would ever understand. Sauvages!
At that, he caught another passing scent. It was hard to place, but at least they were not in this girl's room. That could be a hassle he certainly did not want. Upon regarding the smell a second time, his brows furrowed. The passerby resembled the smell of a girl from his past, Touka. But this character was certainly male. They were above him, somewhere on the rooftops.
He hesitated and listened. Keeping silent, he was curious if the other would register his presence.
